What to expect when buying a house during Covid- 19

So what changed in the process?

Open Houses

Instead of open houses, there are “ live” showings where people can tune in as virtual showing appointments. These are meant to limit the times of access to the home, keeping everyone safe. However, in Washington state, you can now have personalized showings where you are limited to a set time in the home and have to abide by safety guidelines like wearing a mask and wearing disposal gloves.

Inspections

Offer inspections are process virtually with only one vendor in the home who adopts all safety measures and protocols. Expect delays in arranging inspections and solidifying appointments.

Offers

Offers will now include conditions based on viewings that are held virtually and solidifying in-person viewings.

Welcome Home Packages:

A great realtor will individualize a welcome home present with all the covid-19 safety accessories you may need, from mask to hand sanitizer. Also, don’t forget some bubblies to top it off!

Final Thoughts:

You are not alone in this process, I will be there every step of the way making sure you are house hunting with ease.
